Being an adult is working on something but knowing there are three other things you should be doing and also feeling like you should be doing “self-care” and also be at the gym or doing yoga and drinking more water and remembering that you have three texts and a phone call you owe people and actually hearing your bank account shiver from the auto-payments flying out of it and all the while you just want a nap and someone to pet your hair and tell you it’s okay to eat cheesecake for dinner.
Joy: *then you just end up surfing around on the web for hours paralyzed by not knowing where to start.
Margaret: Imaging doing all of that and being responsible for a tiny human too. I’m tired y’all. It’s been a day.
