Much needed beer. Because today was an unholy adventure. I’m not going to call out people by name here, but every fucking person at Operation Catnip needs a big hug and a beverage of choice. Today’s clinic had over 300 cats and a shortage of people, so it was a logistic conundrum. And there were some heartbreaking moments that almost made me cry.
Every person–from the vets to the students to the staff to the volunteers *and especially to the caregivers who take care of their furry friends*–this is a special endeavor with only the best intentions by every single person. I can honestly say that every person involved in this is a beautiful human with a bigger than average heart.
That being said, GODDAMNIT I’M FUCKING EXHAUSTED!
