There are some important things I’m leaving in 2023. A lot of “lasts” that I didn’t anticipate.
Last time holding my dad’s hand. That was a big one. Even though I knew it was happening, I still wasn’t prepared for it.
This year is going to be filled with a lot more “lasts”. I only hope I can fill in those gaps with a lot more “mores”. More friends. More laughter. More sunshine and breeze on my face. More colors and flavors. More quiet stillness. More chaos. More holding hands. More more.
