So I know love languages is basically astrology, but it’s a good place for people to start talking about their needs in a relationship. And I’ve been thinking (okay, overthinking) about that lately. Because 1) the way I express my love in a relationship is often different than how I want it expressed to me, and 2) it varies wildly from one relationship to the next.
Also, and I cannot stress this enough, the emphasis on romantic or partner relationships is somewhat heavyhanded. I’d like to know about these expressions with lovers and friends and all of those grey area relationships in-between. I barely got past the first question in this quiz because life is not black and white. It’s a vibrant rainbow.

I can’t get into bed with dirty feet. Do you have a bedtime thing you can’t deal with?
Olivia: I still sleep with a stuffed bear, can’t sleep without it. I even take him on vacation.
Saudia: Olivia OMG, me too. I’ve had Isabelle since I was 11. Where I go, she goes
Bud: Dirty feet a big no no and I have to keep one leg out of the blankets to cool me down. Significant others hate that usually.
